What is one thing you wish every client knew before sitting in your makeup chair?
I love when a bride has inspiration photos! It helps me better understand their personal style and helps remove client to makeup artist communication barriers.
A place to find inspiration is our Pinterest page! We have work we have done and love, as well as some great pics from other incredible beauty professionals.
What is your ride-or-die skincare product? What does it do for you?
I absolutely love a hydrating toner. I can layer it under my moisturizer and it gives me that really plump and glassy skin. My favorite right now is Mamonde Chamomile Pure Toner. I’m a big fan of Korean toners in general, but I like this one because the ingredient list is very minimal and non-irritating.
Do you consider yourself a creative person or a pragmatic person?
I do consider myself to be a creative person, but I definitely like having my basic rules/techniques to build off of.
What is your absolute favorite drink before a wedding? What is your favorite thing to eat after?
I really like to have a nice hot tea during my commute. After weddings, I always look for the nearest Mediterranean or sushi restaurant!
What is your absolute favorite color in makeup products? Why?
I’m a big fan of pinky tones. I feel like they can make any look just that much softer and more romantic.
What is your favorite makeup to apply? Where is your passion in beauty?
Eyeshadow application is hands down my favorite. I love blending, it’s almost therapeutic. I also feel like I have the most creative opportunity in the eye area.
